Apps that ship —
and keep shipping.
Smart Codies is an independent Android studio: eight apps designed, built and maintained end to end, live on Google Play with 6,000+ downloads and counting.

Eight apps, one studio.
Every title below is designed, built, published and maintained by Smart Codies — live on the Play Store right now, not a portfolio mock-up.
A small studio that treats every app like a product, not a project — architected properly, shipped to real users, and supported long after launch day.
Founded in 2021, Smart Codies designs and builds native Android applications — from the first architecture decision to the Play Store listing and every update after. Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and Clean Architecture are the default, not the exception.
We work across tools, communication, photography, finance, games and productivity — eight different problem spaces, one consistent bar for performance, structure and store compliance.
Every title we publish stays ours to maintain: crash reports get fixed, new Android versions get supported, and store policy changes get handled before they become a takedown.

Product thinking
Every app starts as a real problem worth solving — not a template filled in and shipped for the sake of it.
Architecture first
MVVM and Clean Architecture from the first commit, because the structure is what survives four years of updates.
Shipped and supported
Play Console ownership, staged rollouts and post-launch fixes are part of the work — not somebody else's problem.
Full-stack Android, end to end.

Five steps, every time.
- 01
Scope
What the app is for, who opens it, and which Android versions and devices have to be supported. Store policy is checked here, not at submission.
- 02
Architect
Module structure, MVVM layers, data sources and navigation graph. Room schema and API contracts are agreed before a screen gets built.
- 03
Build
Feature by feature in Jetpack Compose, wired through ViewModels and repositories. Coroutines and Flow for anything asynchronous.
- 04
Test & profile
JUnit over the logic, manual passes on real low-end hardware, and the Android Studio Profiler on startup, memory and jank before release.
- 05
Release & support
Signed bundle, Play Console listing, staged rollout, Crashlytics watched. Then the part most people skip — the updates after launch.
